Crete May 2005	home
Crete was my favorite by far. We stayed in Rethymno & spent some time in the old city, sometimes pretended to be locals playing tavli (backgammon) outside in the afternoon. We also rented a motorcycle & did some exploring - the hills are dotted with churches & goats and the occasional smell of olive trees.
